A backstage diary

  • 13:00 - Call Time

    The city is buzzing. We’re arriving at show location, Fondazione Sozanni, which is typical of Milanese architecture. Industrial and modern, but with allure and elegance - very well suited for MERODA.

  • 13:30 - Hair & make-up

    Backstage is filling up fast, with models, dancers, influencers and crew flying around. It’s always super hectic, but contradictorily enough, everyone felt quite calm. MERODA-calm before the show-storm, it felt like.

  • 15:00 - Catwalk briefing

    The part where it gets serious.The whole team is in hyperfocus on walking through the final adjustments to make this show roll perfectly.

  • 15:30 - First look

    Seeing the full look come together - always a goosebump moment.

    The fashion and beauty look are perfectly coordinated: modern and minimalistic, yet still feminine and elegant.

  • 15:45 - Rehearsal

    Models walk, turn, repeat. Everyone’s getting into the rhythm. There is something magical about seeing MERODA come to life for this big show... It's really going to happen.

  • 16:30 - Touch-ups

    Last checks & adjustments. The final mists of setting spray drifting through the air. MERODA-goodiebags in line for all front row guests.

  • 16:40 - Backstage interview

    In between it all, Romee is sharing her Milano moment with the biggest Dutch reality talkshow, RTL Boulevard, on camera. Of course in her MERODA-bathrobe!

  • 16:50 - Line-up

    The clock is ticking away its final moments. We do our team cheer and take a few deep breaths...

  • 17:00 - Showtime

    … And then Romee walks. So strong, confident, and naturally gorgeous.

  • After - It’s a wrap!

    And just like that, it’s done. MERODA took the world's biggest fashion stage by storm.

    A feeling of pride fills the room - and everybody knows: this is just the beginning.
